Pole Vault City vaulters prepare to begin their 2011 season on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at the O’Connell Center at the University of Florida. The Jimmy Carnes invitational will be the first indoor meet for all the Pole Vault City athletes competing. These athletes include Amanda Rigdon, Emily Gale, Amanda Gale, Devon Grussmark, Kristen Petry, Christina Valdez, Stephanie Cook, Courtney Madden, Josh McDaniel, JT Evans, Matt Burroughs, Rudy Magasrevy, and Jacob Arme. Amanda Ridgon is an 8th grader at Jefferson Middle School in Merritt Island. Emily Gale, Amanda Gale, and Rudy Magasrevy all attend Cypress Bay High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Emily and Amanda are twin sophomores and Rudy is a junior. Devon Grussmark is a junior at Ransom Everglades School in Miami. Kristen Petry is a junior at Cocoa Beach High School. Christina Valdez is a senior at Hagerty High School in Oveido. Stephanie Cook is a junior at East Ridge High School in Clermont. Courtney Madden is a senior at Lakeland Christian School. Josh McDaniel is a junior at Lakeland High School. JT Evans is a senior at Columbus High School in Miami. Matt Burroughs is a senior at John I Leonard High School in West Palm Beach. Jacob Arme is a junior at Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota. Good luck to all the vaulters as they have worked very hard this off season.
